New Book :
Essays in Truth - Glimpses into
Reality
By Nick Roach & Sally Powell
"Nick Roach has once again provided us
with a profusion of provocative thoughts and stimulating speculations as to
our true nature. Nick isn't shy about declaring his own enlightenment. He
states with razor-sharp clarity what enlightenment is and isn't, and how any
of us can drop our resistance to enlightenment at any moment, by simply
becoming aware of where we are and what we are feeling. If Nick is right,
enlightenment is not at all what most ‘enlightened’ teachers say it is, but
instead is both more mundane and more terribly wonderful than we ordinarily
allow ourselves to imagine… or experience."
Jordan Gruber, Founder and CEO,

“Nick Roach is a voice for our collective
awakening. His Essays in Truth, Glimpses into Reality opens up many of the
profound and pertinent questions which demand to be addressed as we explore
the depths of this mysterious business we call ‘life’.”
Timothy Freke, author of many books
investigating spirituality, including The Jesus Mysteries and Lucid Living.
Introduction:
The
contents of this book were written over a period of three years, one page at
a time, as the idea for each arose in Nick, and in pretty much the order in
which they occur here. Each subject or chapter was published on the website,
itself steadily growing in size as time progressed, and the contents of
which were never expected to make it into a book such as this.
However,
they are amazing pieces and describe the process Nick went through as the
state deepened in him. You may notice the style changing as you read Nick’s
works and interact with him in person. This is perhaps particularly apparent
in some of the later sections of this book, which could even be said to
conflict with the earlier pieces. All were correct at the time as they were
experienced and serve to demonstrate how the truth moves on. What is true
today, no matter how true it seems, may be pushed aside for a greater truth
tomorrow. Better to roll with it and enjoy the ride than try to fight it and
hold to old and out of date ideas.
This
also applies to Nick’s own relationship within himself with his own Master’s
teachings, and you will see how Nick begins to look beyond these in his own
experience and with his own perspective, no longer simply taking on faith
what he had held onto for so many years simply because it was what he was
taught.
Feel
free to dip into this book as you wish, but there is a great story if read
in page order as the journey within unfolds.

Reviewer: Mr. Andrew Douglas (Leeds, UK)
I've read a great deal of books in the area of spirituality and although
I've found interesting items in many of them what I was really after was
something to make a substantial positive difference to my life.
For the past year and a half I've been practicing Nick's teachings as
described in his first book "Enlightenment, the Simple Path". My life has
improved significantly thanks to this and I barely recognise who I was - the
long periods of depression, anxiety and anger have almost completely gone
and have been replaced with a deep sense of peace.
This new book contains the same direct, honest and accessible style as the
previous one and builds upon (or deepens) what was said there. This is
further enhanced with the inclusion of pages written by Sally, Nick's
partner, as she describes how her life has changed by been with Nick and
following his teachings.
All in all I can't recommend this book enough.
